Our Flavorful Story

Sergeant Pepper Salsa is owned by Stephen Paul Campos inspired by the love for my father Art Campos and dedicated to his memory. My father Art Campos was a pioneer in the Mexican Food Industry. It is also inspired for my love of the brotherhood of military, veterans and their families. In 1967, I was working for "Campos Foods" and then joined the U.S. Army and served in combat in the Vietnam War. After, returning home from war I went back to work with his businesses "Campos Foods & Senor Campos Restaurants".
In 2005, I met my Vietnam Combat buddies for the very first time since 1968. We met at the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C. to honor our fallen combat brothers. After that event I wrote about my journey from the insanity of combat and my personal struggles. My book , "Charlie Doesn't Live Here Anymore" was published in 2009. It tells my story of "Honor on the Battlefield and Dishonor for serving our country." My books are available on amazon.com/stephenpaulcampos.
This military brand "Sergeant Pepper Salsa" was given because I was a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army and my love for Mexican Food. This salsa is dedicated to my father "Art Campos". Our theme, proudly offers novelty and a variety of Mexican Hot Sauces, Salsa's, BBQ Sauce, BBQ Spice rubs, and Crispy Tortilla Chips, mostly crafted from "Senor Campos Restaurants" in the early 1960's. The ingredients we use are freshly made in small batches, handed down from previous generations. Our salsa's and hot sauce's, will suit EVERY taste bud and heat level, so enjoy!
My father Art Campos was a pioneer in the Mexican Food Industry. In 1947 he established "Campos Foods" manufacturing corn and flour tortillas and distributing them to major grocery store chains in the Central Valley of California. I started working for his business at the age of fourteen years old. In 1964 my father started "Senor Campos" Mexican Restaurant Franchises that were sold from Chico to Turlock, California. His delicious salsa was first served in 1947 in all his restaurants and everyone loved the taste. This salsa is my honor to him and is tasty and delicious, so enjoy!!
